Prof. Pallav Gupta at Villanova

Welcome

I received my BS degree (summa cum laude) with honors in computer engineering from The University of Arizona, Tucson, AZ in May 2002. I was an intern at Transmeta Corporation in the summer 2001 and worked as a verification engineer in the same company from January to August 2002.

I received my MA and PhD degrees from Princeton University in June 2004 and January 2007, respectively. My PhD advisor was Prof. Niraj K. Jha and my dissertation was entitled "Synthesis and testing methodologies for reversible, threshold, and majority logic circuits."

As of January 2007, I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Villanova University. My main research interests are:
  1. Design automation and methodologies for emergining nanotechnologies
    •     Quantum cellular automata
    •     Resonant tunneling diodes
    •     Single electron transistors
    •     Carbon nanotubes and nanowires
  2. Reversible logic synthesis
  3. Computer-aided design
